The "Master Bedroom" of the
house has been given to honeymooners since the 1860's. Marriage ceremonies were performed in the house
by its builder, Seth Shaw, and the newlyweds were ushered upstairs to sleep in a huge four poster feather
bed under the 20 foot vaulted ceiling. The suite's cozy fireplace keeps romance warm. A few nights spent
in the Shaw Suite is definitely a time honored tradition.
